Xiaomi has mistakenly announced the Redmi 10 midrange smartphone. They released a press statement announcing the Xiaomi Redmi 10 smartphone on their official website but later withdrew it, this shows that it is a mistake.
The press statement is scheduled to be made public when the smartphone will be unveiled. The full specifications of the smartphone were among the press release statement and with that, we have known the full specifications of the Redmi 10.
Specs of Xiaomi Redmi 10 and features
As per the leaked press statement, the phone will arrive with a 6.5-inch LCD. It will have support for an adaptive refresh rate, which switches between 45, 60 and 90Hz.
The Full HD+ display has a hole-punch cutout on top for the front camera. Under the hood is an unreleased MediaTek Dimensity G88 SoC.
It will come with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The release confirmed that the device will launch in 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB storage configurations.
It will pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging and 9W reverse charging. The device will ship with a 22.5W fast charger in the box.
It will have a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Xiaomi Redmi 10 runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11. It comes in three colours which are Carbon Gray, Pebble White, Sea Blue.
The quad-camera on the back includes a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide sensor and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro. The device measures 161.96 x 75.54 x 8.93mm and weighs 182 grams.
As it stands now, the only thing remaining is the price. Xiaomi has not made a comment regarding the phone. With the leaked press statement, we expect its announcement very soon.
