In fact, the Redmi series is the more affordable variant of the Redmi Note series. Last year, Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi 9 series after unveiling the Note 9 series. Since the company unveiled the Redmi Note 10 series, it is time for the Redmi 10 series.
Xiaomi Redmi 10 got FCC certification
A Xiaomi smartphone with 21061119AG model number believed to be the Redmi 10 has been certified by FCC. The certification document revealed that the smartphone will come with dual 4G enabled SIM cards.
It will run on MIUI 12.5 user interface and available in three storage options which are 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM, 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM, and 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM. Rumours are rife that the main camera will be a 50-megapixel ISOCELL JN1 sensor.
There will also be a Sony IMX355 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front camera resolution is not yet known. The back cameras can shoot videos in 4K at 60fps and 1080p videos at 240fps.
There is no other information regarding the Redmi 10 smartphone currently. However, we expect that it will be powered by a Snapdragon processor and above 5000mAh battery capacity.
Additionally, Xiaomi launched the Redmi 9, Redmi 9 Prime, Redmi 9A, Redmi 9 Power, and Redmi 9i smartphones last year. Out of these, either all or some of them might get successors this year.
Xiaomi has not shown any sign of launching the Redmi 10 smartphone but we will watch and see in the next few days. We expect the device to appear on GeekBench next which will reveal its hardware specifications.
