Vivo has officially confirmed that they will be launching a new smartphone in Thailand on March 22. The smartphone is going to be the Vivo Y72 5G. Y72 5G will be the first-ever Y series smartphone from Vivo to come with a 5G network support. The smartphone has also appeared on the google play console a few days ago revealing its key specs. Now we have gotten our first live look at the Vivo Y72 5G smartphone.
A Thailand blog called MX Phone has unboxed the smartphone ahead of launch on March 22. The image from the Thailand blog revealed the smartphone its self, charging adapter, USB C cable, Earphones, a soft case, and a SIM ejector pin. As you can already see, the smartphone really comes with the necessary items in the box. It is good that Vivo added these accessories, unlike other few manufacturers who have suddenly changed.
Taking a look at the live image of this Y72 5G, we can see that it comes with a triple rear camera but this unboxed version comes in Blue Pink Gradient colour. Thanks to the Google play console listing, we know that the main camera is a 64MP sensor. Other sensors are the 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro sensor. Looking at the front, we can see a u-notch cut-out upfront which is where the 16MP selfie shooter is domiciled.
Still on the front, the device comes with a 6.58inch display with a Full HD resolution of 1080 x 2480 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 700 chipset, accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. What should be keeping the light on is a 5,000mAh battery capacity which supports 18W fast charging support.
It also runs on FunTouch OS version 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box. Everything about the Vivo Y72 5G is already public knowledge, it is only remaining the price. But not to worry, we will get to know about it on March 22.
