Vivo Y33s has been announced in India. We had received reports that it is going to be announced in India soon but the device has finally been announced in India today. This makes it the latest Y-series device in India.
It comes with a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC under the hood and runs on the Android 11 operating system based on Funtouch OS 11.1 user interface. At the rear, it has a triple camera setup of which the primary sensor is 50-megapixels. The phone is also slim at 8mm thickness.
On the front, it has a water-drop notch display with a minimal chin and bezels. The display measures a 6.58-inch diagonally and it is an IPS LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The phone weighs in at 188grams.
The Mediatek Helio G80 chipset that is powering the phone has an Octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz, paired with an 8GB RAM with 4GB RAM extra virtual support. There is a 128GB ROM. There is also a Micro-SD slot should you wish to extend the storage up to 1TB.
The triple camera on the rear includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it uses a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera has electronic image stabilisation to prevent shaky videos when recording.
What is keeping the light on is a 5000mAh battery capacity that supports 18W fast charging. It uses a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Its connectivity options include a dual WiFi, 4G, Bluetooth v5, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C Port.
