A tipster on Weibo has revealed some specifications of the upcoming Vivo X70 smartphone. Recall that Vivo launched its X60 series smartphone earlier this year which includes the standard X60, X60 Pro, and the X60 Pro Plus.
It is no doubt that the “X” series from Vivo tends to offer the best camera and video quality possible. Vivo takes the camera and video recording seriously on the “X” series. With the specs leak of the upcoming X70, Vivo is not dropping this vision anytime soon.
Vivo X70 specs leak and expected release date
Digital chat station via Weibo revealed that the standard X70 will come with a 5-axis anti-shake micro-head and a 1/1.5-inch aperture sensor. Recall that the X60 Pro uses an f/1.48 aperture which made it the biggest smartphone in the Vivo lineup with such a huge aperture.
With the upcoming Vivo X70 having an even bigger 1/1.5 aperture, it will allow more light to enter the lens and thus deliver clear images at night and detailed images during the day. The leakster also revealed that the X70 will use the same processor architecture as the older X60 smartphone.
It will have a 120Hz refresh rate, single-dot-in display and a Full HD+ resolution. This is the same exact display feature as the older X60 series. The size of the display wasn’t mentioned, it will probably use the same screen size as the X60 which is 6.56-inches.
A previous report regarding the X70 Pro shows that it will come with a 4500mAh battery capacity that supports 66W fast charging. It will also make use of dual stereo speakers.
For a quick recap of the previous X60, it comes with a Snapdragon 870 5G chipset, 1080 x 2376 AMOLED display resolution, 48-megapixel main camera, 32-megapixel selfie camera, and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
Remember that Vivo has not commented on any X70 series existence but we heard in the past that the smartphone will be released in September in partnership with the Indian Premier League (IPL).
