Vivo is preparing to launch its first foldable smartphone this month, ahead of the launch, a tipster via Weibo has leaked almost the full specifications of the device. He leaked the display specs, hardware specs, and camera specs.
Starting with the display, the cover display will feature a curved edge design and a punch-hole cut-out. The display measures 6.5-inches and it is a Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
It will have the popular inward folding design and the inner display measures 8-inches diagonally with a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also have a punch-hole cut-out.
The phone will have four cameras, there is a 50-megapixel sensor, a 48-megapixel sensor, a 12-megapixel sensor with 2x zoom, and an 8-megapixel sensor with 5x zoom.
The details of the front camera were not mentioned by the tipster. It appears to have an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner on the inner display. Under the hood, it will be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
All this will be backed up by the 4600mAh battery with 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The phone may debut this month but the exact date is still a misery.
