Tecno mobile has launched yet another battery king in the African market, Nigeria to be specific. If you have been following Tecno for a long time, you would notice that its Pouvoir series is known for its strong and efficient battery capacity. We received the Pouvoir 4 series about four months ago and now Tecno has brought its successor.
This time, it is no longer called the Pouvoir but POVA and Tecno would be sticking with this name henceforth we guess. According to the tech giant, POVA stands for “Powering Optimal Value and Ambitions”. The device comes with a gigantic 6,000mAh battery capacity and this time with a fast-charging up to 18W. So you don’t need to wait that long to refill the monster battery like on the Pouvoir 4 series.
On the front, Tecno Pova comes with a 6.8inch IPS LCD display size with a resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels. As we know, the Pouvoir series emphasize battery alone and less on others. But with Pova, it is different. The Tecno Pova comes with a fast gaming Helio G80 chipset from MediaTek. This chipset is about 5% faster than the G70 chipset on the Infinix Note 7.
So this means while you are enjoying the huge battery capacity and fast charge, you still get to run games smoothly without any lags as of before in the Pouvoir history, thanks to the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. The chipset is paired with 6/4GB of RAM and 128/64GB of internal storage, it also runs on the Android 10 operating system.
On the camera department, you are getting four snappers at the back which consists of a 13-megapixel, pegged with a 2-megapixel wide lens, 2-megapixel macro snapper, and a fourth QVGA depth lens, while a single 8-megapixel snapper is used upfront. It is available in Magic Blue, Speed Purple, and Dazzle Black. The fingerprint scanner is present at the back.
Tecno Pova Price in Nigeria
The cost of Tecno Pova in Nigeria starts from ₦77,000 for the base version with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Tecno only stated the 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM version on their website and that seems like the 6GB RAM version isn’t coming to Nigeria.
