There have been rumours that Samsung will release the Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphone in July this year. Recall that the Z Fold 2 was released in August last year. Samsung might make use of the same time frame for the Z Fold 3. The key specifications of the Z Fold 3 have been revealed via 3C certification.
It is not as if it is key specs per se but the battery details. The 3C certification shows that the smartphone will come with a 25W fast charging support. Earlier last month, the same 3C certification shows that the phone will come with a dual-cell battery setup. One will be a 2060mAh battery and the other will be a 2215mAh battery. If added together, the phone will arrive with a 4,275mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 rumoured Specifications
We have come across the Z Fold 3 in the past. The smartphone is speculated to come with a 7.5-inches display, and the outer display will remain 6.2-inches. As for what will be under the hood, we have no information on that but it might be a Snapdragon 888 chipset. If you look at the older Z Fold 2, it came with a 2020 flagship chipset, so we expect the same for the Fold 3.
There are rumours that it will feature an under-display selfie shooter. If that is true, then it will be a 16MP sensor. The outer display selfie camera is rumoured to be a 12MP sensor. On the back would be a triple camera setup. It will have a 12MP + 12MP + 16MP camera sensor setup. It is also rumoured to come with S Pen support. The S pen of the Z Fold 3 will be a hybrid version which means more features.
