On August 11 this month, Samsung announced its two latest foldable devices which are the Z Fold 3 and the Z Flip 3. The following day after their announcement, pre-orders kicked off, now the smartphone is available in stores in 40 countries.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 specs and price
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 comes with a 7.6-inch foldable display with a resolution of 2208 x 1768 pixels. It features a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also comes with support for Samsung’s S Pen Pro. The under-display camera is a 4MP lens with an f/1.8 aperture.
When the device is folded, the outer display measures 6.2-inches and it is an AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2260 x 832 pixels and 387 PPI. It has a punch hole cut-out for the 10MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
Under the hood, it is fuelled by the flagship Snapdragon 888 chipset with 512GB internal storage and 12GB RAM. At the rear, it packs a triple camera.
The main sensor is a 12MP wide camera with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS). There is a 12MP ultra-wide with f/2.2 aperture and a 12MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. The camera lens comes protected with Corning Gorilla Glass DX.
What is keeping the light on is a 4400mAh battery capacity with 25W fast charging support. It runs on the Android 11 operating system with OneUI 3.1 user interface. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, etc.
It comes in Phantom Black, Phantom Silver and Phantom Green colours.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 specs and price
The Z Flip 3 is succeeding the Z Flip 2 of last year. It comes with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
When not flipped, the outer display measures 1.9-inches with a resolution of 260 x 512 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
At the rear, it has a dual-camera setup of which its main sensor is a 12MP sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS). There is a 12MP ultra-wide camera with a 123-degree field of view. On the front, it makes use of the 10MP camera.
It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security and has IPX8 certification for water resistance. The foldable phone runs on Android 11 with OneUI 3.1 user interface.
Colour options include Phantom Black, Cream and Lavender.
