Samsung has announced the Galaxy Xcover 6 Pro rugged smartphone. The phone is the successor of the Samsung Galaxy Xcover Pro. It comes with a dual rear camera and a water-drop notch on the front for the selfie camera. It has a thick chin and bezels and that is expected since it is a budget smartphone.
We can see the volume rockers on the left side of the phone. It is available in only Black colour. On the front, the phone comes with a 6.6-inch PLS LCD with a 1080 x 2408 pixels resolution.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset and runs on the Android 12 operating system. The Xcover 6 Pro has 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM. At the rear, it has a 50-megapixels primary camera and an 8-megapixels camera.
On the front, it has a 13-megapixel camera for selfies or video calls. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and the battery size is 4050mAh with 15W charging speed.
The phone has Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, Wi-Fi, Samsung DeX support, and GPS. It has IP68 dust and water resistance. It also has a drop to concrete up to 1.5m certification. Samsung has not revealed the price of this smartphone.
