Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra was announced very early this year alongside its siblings, the S21 and the S21 Plus. It was announced with the latest Android 11 version of course, it is a flagship device. Now in a recent development, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra was seen running Android 12 OS.
The smartphone was benchmarked on Geekbench with the Android 12 operating system. Samsung has not said anything about releasing the Android 12 update to the Samsung S21 Ultra. Although, there are reports that the company will unveil its latest custom OS OneUI 4.0 very soon and will be bundled with Android 12.
Samsung has even started updating its smartphone apps to be compatible with Android 12, so yea, the update may be arriving soon. Its Geekbench listing revealed the normal thing we usually get such as hitting 1122 on the single-core test and 3469 on the multi-core test.
The Galaxy S22 series is expected to be unveiled earlier next year with the same S21 series launch timeline. They will come with Android 12 out of the box with OneUI 4.0 probably. Perhaps Samsung will start rolling out the Android 12 update after launching the S22 series flagships. And the S21 series may be the first to get the update.
