Samsung has a lot of upcoming smartphone in the “F” and “A” series. The company is expected to announce the F52 5G and the A22 4G smartphones very soon. While we wait for these smartphones to debut, another Samsung Galaxy”A” series lineup has emerged on Geekbench. The smartphone is dubbed the Samsung Galaxy M22. This phone will be succeeding the Galaxy M21 of last year.
A Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-M225F has been spotted on GeekBench. It scored 374 in the single-core test, and 1361 in the multicore test. GeekBench shows that it is powered by the MT6769V/CT chipset with a 1.80GHz base clock frequency and code-named “k69v1_64_titan_buffalo”.
This means that the Samsung Galaxy M22 will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. The listing also revealed that it will have 4GB RAM, there could be other RAM options when it is unveiled. Of course, the Android 11 operating system will be running inside of this device. Maybe based on OneUI 3.1. The Samsung Galaxy A22 4G we earlier mentioned will be coming with a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset.
This leaves us to think that the Samsung Galaxy M22 might be a rebranded A22 4G. It is not very clear yet because the specifications of the smartphone are not yet complete. We expect to see the smartphone bag several certifications which will, in turn, leave us with its other specifications such as display size, camera, and battery. Speaking about battery, the older M21 comes with a 6000mAh battery capacity.
So we expect this Galaxy M22 to sport a 7000mAh battery capacity with at least a 15W charging speed. Let’s refresh our minds with the older Galaxy M21 specs
