Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 has been released in India. The smartphone is the updated version of the M21 of last year which was exactly unveiled on March 18 that last year. The new Galaxy M21 2021 didn’t come with many upgrades but it has an improved camera and a redesigned back cover.
Most of the specifications remain the same as the original M21. It comes with a 6.4-inches Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The screen is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Exynos 9611 chipset that uses an Octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. It has a Mali-G72 GPU for graphics or gaming. The smartphone is running on Android 11 operating based on OneUI 3.1 user interface.
At the rear, it has the same camera configuration as the original M21. However, the new M21 2021 now comes with a different 48-megapixel sensor. The new 48-megapixel sensor is now an ISOCELL Bright GM2 sensor. This new 48MP sensor can capture true 48MP shots than the original M21.
Other remaining two cameras at the rear include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. It can shoot videos in 4K at 30 frames per second. On the front, it has a ‘U’ notch cut-out overhead which houses a 20-megapixel sensor.
It features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and what is keeping the light on is a 6000mAh battery capacity that supports 15W charging speed.
Other features include GPS, a dual-SIM card slot, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Price in India and Availability
The price of the Galaxy M21 2021 in India is Rs 12,499 ($170) for the 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM version. It is available exclusively to Amazon India for purchase starting July 26. The phone comes in Arctic Blue and Charcoal Black colours.
Aside having a 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant, it also has a 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM variant.
