There is an ongoing rumour that Samsung is planning to unveil the Galaxy F22 smartphone. Reports also have it that the Samsung Galaxy F22 will be similar to the Galaxy A22. It is important to remind you that neither the Galaxy F22 nor the Galaxy A22 has been officially announced. These two smartphones are still under the rock and several rumours of them started flying around recently.
Samsung has not made any comment regarding the F22 and the A22. The Samsung Galaxy “F” series devices are known to be exclusive to India. The company first commenced the series in September last year with the F41. Since then, they have followed it up with the F62 and the recently announced F12 and the F02s.
The Galaxy “F” series might have been successful for the company that made them consider unveiling a new variant. Speculations are rife that the F22 and the A22 will be similar. If that should be the case, then the A22 will be for the global market while the F22 remains exclusive to India.
Samsung Galaxy F22/A22 specifications leak
We have seen some specs and renders of the A22 recently. The smartphone appears to have a water-drop notch cut-out overhead and a 3.5mm head jack. For specs, it measures 6.5inches in diagonal and will sport a Full HD resolution. The phone measures 167.2 x 76.4 x 8.7mm and the rear is made of plastic. It will have triple rear cameras but the report didn’t reveal the resolution.
However, previous reports show that the main camera will be a 48-mega pixel. The A22 might run Android 11 out of the box, as revealed by the preliminary HTML5 test earlier. Looking at the render, we see that it will have a fingerprint sensor that also doubles as a power button. It will come in 4G and 5G variants. Colour options are expected to be Gray, White, Light Green, and Violet.
