Samsung has announced a new smartphone called the Galaxy A21 Simple SCV49 in Japan. This device is a new variant of the existing A21 smartphone. It comes with a 5.8-inch waterdrop notch display. The TFT screen offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate.
For selfies, it has a front camera of 5-megapixel. Its back panel has a single 13-megapixel camera and an LED flash. Under the hood, it is powered by the Exynos 7884B chipset, paired with a 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. For additional storage, it features a microSD card slot.
The phone runs on the Android 11 operating system and what is keeping the light on is a 3,600mAh battery capacity that supports 10W slow charging. It doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner bit comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistant.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It has a dimension of 150 x 71 x 8.4mm and weighs 159 grams.
