Samsung Galaxy A13 5G with model number SM-A136B is said to be in the works. The phone will be the most affordable 5G smartphone yet. Samsung has been making 5G affordable to budget users since 2020.
In 2020, they unveiled the Galaxy A42 5G which costs $319. This year, they have also unveiled an affordable 5G smartphone which is the A22 5G and it starts at $230.
The Galaxy A13 5G will likely be announced next year and it will be priced below the A22 5G. Recall that the Galaxy A12 was announced in December last year with $183 pricing, with that, the A13 5G will likely be priced under $200.
It is possible that the phone will debut this year ending or in the first quarter of 2022. The display, hardware, camera, battery and other details of the smartphone is unknown for now. The phone will be the successor of the Galaxy A12.
To recall, the A12 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset and runs on the Android 10 operating system. The phone has a 48-megapixels primary camera and an 8-megapixels selfie camera.
The battery capacity is 5000mAh with 15W fast charging. Since the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G will come with 5G, it may sport a Snapdragon 480 5G chipset.
