Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi will launch a new TWS in India on September 3. The company has teased some key features of its new TWS. They revealed that Redmi’s new wireless earbuds will come with dual drivers. It will have a Qualcomm chipset and also come with up to 30 hours of battery life.
The claimed battery life is with the charging case’s total capacity. It will have a splash resistance rating and also support Bluetooth 5.2. Other features include touch controls and quick pairing.
Based on the teased specs, we can assume that the company is bringing the AirDots 3 to India. They come with Qualcomm’s QCC3040 chipset with support for aptX Adaptive audio codec.
The TWS’ charging case comes with a USB Type-C port. Each earbud weighs 4.6 grams and comes with an IPX-4 rating for splash resistance.
The TWS was launched in China for CNY 199 (roughly Rs 2,300). We can expect the pricing to be under Rs 2,500 in India.
At the event, the company will also launch the Redmi 10 Prime, which features the new MediaTek Helio G88 SoC and a 50MP quad-camera setup.
