On March 4th of this year 2021, Xiaomi released the Redmi Note 10 Pro and the Note 10 Pro Max in India. The company later launched the smartphones globally alongside the Note 10 5G. They are running on Android 11 with MIUI 12 out of the box. Now Xiaomi has decided to push the MIUI 12.5 skin operating system to the Redmi Note 10 Pro and the Note 10 Pro Max in India.

MIUI 12.5 brings a lot of features. With MIUI 12.5, response to gestures is now instant. The Note Apps also has gained many new features. With this new build, the Notes App gets a new tool for doodling and sketching. With gesture shortcuts, you can now create new notes, tasks, or excerpts anywhere. This new update also adds in new modes for recording video and time-lapse photography in the Camera App. Apart from this, the MIUI 12.5 also brings in a new set of filters (BBP, Mystery, Lime, Tango, Fantasy, Slumber, Carmen, Summer).
Features of the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Max
The Redmi Note 10 Pro and Max come with a 6.67 inches AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. They are powered by the Snapdragon 732G chipset. The smartphones come with a quad rear camera. The main camera of the Redmi Note 10 Pro is 64-mega pixels while that of the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is 108-mega pixels.
They both have a 16MP selfie camera. Battery capacity giving them energy is a 5020mAh that supports 33W fast charging. They are available in Vintage Bronze, Glacial Blue, and Dark Night colours.
