Redmi 10 was launched in August as a budget phone with a 90Hz screen refresh rate, MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, 50-megapixels primary camera, and a 5000mAh battery capacity. The same smartphone is going to India as Redmi 10 Prime.
The company recently announced that the phone will be launched on September 3 which is the next two days from now. They confirmed that it will be powered by the Helio G88 chipset. Now they have released a new teaser which revealed that the phone will come with a 6000mAh battery capacity.
This is bigger than the one in the international Redmi 10. In comparison, the Redmi 10 comes with a 5000mAh battery capacity. The company might be putting a 6000mAh battery in the Redmi 10 Prime to make it seem different from the Redmi 10.
The Redmi 10 comes with an 18W fast charging and 9W reverse charging so we expect the Redmi 10 Prime to also come with this charging speed. Even though the smartphone will arrive with a big battery, the company’s MD, Manu Kumar, has said that the phone will be lightweight.
Other specifications expected from the phone is a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with an FHD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. It may come with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection upfront.
The phone might also come in 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM version as well as 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM. It will come with a 50MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor.
On the front, it may have an 8MP selfie camera. The phone may run on Android 11 via MIUI 12.5 user interface.
