Realme 8 5G has been confirmed to be launched in Thailand on April 12 at 6 PM (Local Time). We know that Realme is about to bring the 5G variant of the Realme 8 because the device has appeared on several certifications platforms. Recently, the smartphone appeared on Geekbench which revealed its hardware specifications.
It appeared on Geekbench with RMX3241 model which is the same model it was spotted with on NBTC certification. The smartphone scored 570 in the single-core test and 1766 in the multi-core test. Geekbench also shows that it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G SoC, and 8GB of RAM.
It will run on the Android 11 operating system with Realme UI skin. Unfortunately, this all the information Geekbench revealed. In another report, the smartphone received FCC certification which showed more information about the smartphone.
As per FCC documents, it measures 162.5x 74.8×8.5mm and weighs around 185 grams. The Realme 8 5G will also have a 5000mAh battery but we are not sure of the charging wattage. It will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Other features are 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS/GLONASS, NFC, and 5G support.
Now that we know that it will be launching in Thailand on April 12, what about in India? Well, the smartphone got Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification last time and that means it will be launching in India. Speculations are saying that it will be launched in India on April 23 but we don’t know how sure that is.
