Microsoft Surface Go 3 has appeared on Geekbench and its hardware specs were revealed. The laptop will be succeeding the Surface Go 2 of last year.
Just like the older Surface Go 2, the new Surface Go 3 will be arriving in Intel Core CPU and Pentium Gold CPU variants. GeekBench revealed that there will be a Surface Go 3 with Intel Pentium Gold 6500Y CPU and Intel Core i3-10100Y CPU. The Pentium model will have 4GB RAM, while the Intel model will arrive with 8GB RAM. They are expected to run on Windows 11 OS.
By the way, these processors revealed by GeekBench were introduced earlier this year, so we expect the Surface Go 3 to come with a lot of modern features. The Intel Pentium Gold 6500Y variant scored 3197 in the single-core test and 5643 in the multi-core test.
On the other hand, the Intel Core i3-10100Y variant scored 4359 in the single-core test and 7643 in the multi-core test. For those unaware, the Intel Pentium Gold 6500Y comes with a base clock speed of 1.1GHz and a boost speed of 3.4GHz, paired with a 4MB of cache.
The Intel Core i3-10100Y comes with a 1.3GHz base clock speed and a boost speed of up to 3.9GHz, also paired with 4MB of cache. These are all the information known so far regarding the upcoming Microsoft Surface Go 3 laptops.
