Xiaomi Redmi K20 is receiving Android 11 updates via MIUI 12 in India. The smartphone is a mid-range smartphone that was launched in May of 2019. It also got rebranded as the Mi 9T for some markets.
Speaking of the Mi 9T, the device has gotten its Android 11 update in April this year. The Redmi K20 Chinese version also got the update in February this year. Now Xiaomi is giving out the Android 11 update to Redmi K20 users in India.

The Android 11 update for Redmi K20 comes with V12.1.4.0.RFJINXM firmware version. It is currently rolling out in batches so if you have not gotten yours, you may wait for a while to receive it.
You can also head over to Settings > About phone to check if it is available. Xiaomi has been busy this year dishing out MIUI 12.5 update to its users, it is surprising that the Redmi K20 got its operating system update via MIUI 12.
Although there is nothing wrong with that, it is all good. The device will get MIUI 12.5 and even MIUI 13 in the future.
To recall, the Redmi K20 comes with a 6.39 inches Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset which uses an Octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. It is running on an Android 9 (out of the box ) operating system based on MIUI 11 user interface.
K20 is available in three storage configurations. It comes with a 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM, 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM, and an 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM.
Photography wise, it features a 48MP main camera, 8MP telephoto, and 13MP ultra-wide sensor. Selfie lovers will get a 20MP camera up front.
The phone also features an under-display fingerprint sensor. What is giving the device energy is a 4000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
