The Xiaomi Poco M2 is now receiving Android 11 updates via MIUI 12.5. The smartphone was announced last year with Android 10 OS and MIUI 12 out of the box. It also came as a rebadged Redmi 9 Prime. Now the device is receiving an Android 11 update via MIUI 12.5.
Poco M2 Android 11 update has the ‘V12.5.1.0.RJRINXM’ firmware version. The update comes with a performance boost and is bundled with MIUI 12.5 features. The note app gets Dynamic layouts, doodling & sketching tools, gesture shortcuts, and Compose mind maps with complex structures.

The M2 comes with a 6.53-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel (1080 x 2340 pixels) with a PPI count of 395. The waterdrop notch display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Powering the device is an Helio G80 chipset from MediaTek with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. The processor is paired with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and with up to 64GB of internal storage.
Being a budget device, the POCO M2 comes with an expandable storage option of up to 512GB. At the back, the POCO M2 gets a quad-camera set up which includes a 13MP primary, 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and 2MP depth sensors.
The front camera duties are handled by an 8MP shooter. The smartphone draws power from a 5000mAh battery and charges at 18W.
POCO M2 also ships with a fingerprint sensor, 4G capability, Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack as well an IR Blaster.
