Google announced the new Android 12 operating system yesterday (18 May 2021). The new operating brings a lot of interesting features. It is far better than the Android 11 unveiled last year, of course, we expected it to be. Smartphone manufacturers have gained access to the new Android 12 beta program and are currently pushing it to their flagship smartphones.
Oppo has announced that it is pushing the Android 12 beta version to the Oppo Find X3 Pro. Eligible users can check their phone and install the update. Kindly note that this update is a beta version, meaning that it is not a complete Android 12 experience, it is a testing version of the OS. If you are not a developer or you wouldn’t want your device to start misbehaving, it is recommended that you don’t install the version. Rather, wait for the stable and complete version to start rolling out before installing.
Oppo Find X3 Pro was unveiled on March 11 2021. It comes with a 6.7inches AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3216 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 888 5G chipset which has an Octa-core processor clocked at 2.84GHz, paired with an Adreno 660 GPU.
It is running on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.2, assisted by 256GB 8GB RAM, 256GB 12GB RAM. The rear houses four camera sensors. The main camera is 50MP, there is a 13MP telephoto lens, 50MP Ultra-wide and 3MP microsensor. On the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera.
A fingerprint scanner is located under the display and what is keeping the light on is a 4500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
