The long-anticipated Oppo A94 has been launched. The smartphone is said to be the successor of the A93 which was released in October last year. Now, recent reports have revealed that the A94 will come in different markets with different monikers. According to the well-known leakster, Evan Blass, he revealed an Oppo smartphone codenamed Darwin and said it will come in as A94 in Europe, Reno5 F in Asia, and F19 in India.
The so-called Reno5 F has been teased by Oppo Kenya a week ago and it will be launched on March 22 or 26. The launch date of the F19 for the Indian market is quite unknown for now. Without being said, let’s talk about the specs of the newly launched Oppo A94.
The Oppo A94 comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display, it’s a Full HD+ display which means it has a resolution of 1080 by 2400 pixels, this device is pretty tall, it’s a 20:9 aspect ratio device which has a PPI density of 411, the display also has a 1200 nits brightness.
Under the hood, it is powered by Mediatek Helio P95 Chip which has an Octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. It runs on Android 10 with ColorOS 11.1 slapped on top of it. It has PowerVR GM9446 for graphics or gaming. The processor is also paired with 128GB of inbuilt storage and 8GB of RAM. It comes with a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
In terms of camera, this device spots a quad rear camera of which the main camera is a 48-mega pixel, the rest of the three sensors are the ultra-wide, macro, and a monochrome sensor. The megapixel count for this lens wasn’t revealed.
The smartphone will be offered in two color options which include Fluid Black and Fantastic Purple. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner and what is keeping the light on is a 4,310mAh Li-Po battery which supports 30W fast charging. As of the time of writing, the company is yet to reveal the price of this device.
