OnePlus 9 RT has leaked to launch in October. The smartphone is expected to be the more advanced version of the OnePlus 9R released in March this year. The report was made known by Android Central.
According to them, the OnePlus 9 RT will come with an OxygenOS 12 version based on the Android 12 operating system. Although OnePlus has not unveiled the OxygenOS 12, the custom operating system is said to be unveiled next week.
It will come with Floating Windows, new privacy features and a theme store. Since oppo and OnePlus are now merged, the features in the ColorOS like the password-protected Private Safe will be present in the new OnePlus upcoming custom OS.
The OxygenOS 12 as per the report will be similar to the already available OxygenOS 11.3 and it won’t come with Google’s Material You design.
The upcoming OnePlus 9 RT will come with a 120Hz screen refresh rate and it will be AMOLED. It will come with a 4500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
Under the hood, it is said that it will come with the yet to be announced Snapdragon 870 Plus. As for the camera, it will use a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor as its primary camera. The rest of the cameras are unknown for now.
The report further states that the OnePlus 9 RT will be available only in India and China. There is also two Nord smartphone scheduled for debut this year, as per the report.
