OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T are receiving Android 10 updates via OxygenOS 10.3.12. The smartphones were launched in 2018 with the Android 8 Oreo operating system and have subsequently gotten the Android 9 Pie OS last year.
Now OnePlus is dishing out the Android 10 update for the device. The smartphones will soon receive an Android 11 update because OnePlus had revealed last year the Android 11 open beta for the OnePlus 6 and 6T.
The Android 10 update brings July 2021 Android security patch and system stability improvements along with fixes for known issues. This update is not region-based or limited, it is rolling out to every OnePlus 6/6T user.

OnePlus made this update known through their community post. They revealed that they are rolling out the Android 10 update via OxygenOS 10.3.12 to their 2018 announced OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. They also revealed that the update is coming with July 2021 security patch.
The company mentioned that the update brings improvement to the system and fixes known issues about the phone. Its size is not revealed but users are advised to update with a strong internet connection.
To recall, the OnePlus 6 comes with a 6.28 inches Optic AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels. It is powered by the Snapdragon 845 under the hood. It has a dual 16MP and 20MP rear camera.
On the front, it has a 16MP selfie shooter. What is keeping the light on is a 3300mAh battery capacity with 20W fast charging.
