Nokia mobile announced in May that the Nokia X20 5G smartphone will be joining the Android 12 developer preview program, also known as Android 12 beta in the third quarter of this year.
While we are waiting for it, on August 13, Nokia X20 5G was seen on GeekBench running on Android 12 but no words come from Nokia still. Now on September 1, Nokia has revealed that the X20 5G is now receiving Android 12 beta build.
This update is not yet stable that is why it is recommended that developers only should download it. If you know your ways around or maybe you have a secondary phone you can test it with, you can go ahead.
Before you can install the Android 12 beta build, you have to head over to the My phone app on your smartphone and join the developer preview.
After joining, you will receive the OTA update within 12 hours on your device, and if you want it sooner, you can try checking it manually by navigating to the phone’s Settings > About Phone > System Updates menu 20 minutes after participating in the developer preview program.
To recall, Nokia X20 5G comes with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It is powered by the Snapdragon 480 5G chipset.
At the rear, it has a 64MP main camera, 5MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera. The battery capacity is 4470mAh with 18W fast charging.
