Motorola Moto G50 5G has been announced in Australia. The smartphone will be available first in Australia, there is no information on its global or Indian availability yet.
The Moto G50 5G is a mid-range smartphone that comes with a water-drop notch display with a sizeable chin and bezels. At the rear, it has a triple camera setup in a square-shaped module with led flashlight.
On the front, it comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It features a 90Hz screen refresh rate for faster and smoother scrolling. It also has a 20:9 aspect ratio with 269 PPI density.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset that uses an Octa-core processor. It is running on the Android 11 operating system based on My UX user interface.
As for storage, it comes in only one storage option and that is 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM. There is a micro SD card slot for expansion up to 512GB.
At the rear, the triple camera includes a 48-megapixel primary camera, 2-megapixel macro sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it has a 13-megapixel selfie shooter.
What is keeping the light on is a 5000mAh battery that supports 10W slow charging. A fingerprint sensor is on the side of the phone. The Moto G50 5G measures 167 x 76.4 x 9.26 mm and weighs 206 grams.
Connectivity-wise the phone has a dual-SIM support, 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, NFC and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The price of the Moto G50 5G smartphone in Australia is AUD 399 ($289) and that is for the sole 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM version. It is available in two colours which are Meteorite Grey and Green colour.
