Micromax which is a mobile smartphone manufacturer in India is planning to unveil a new smartphone this July ending. According to a tweet they made public earlier, they are going to unveil a smartphone on July 30 at 12PM (India time) in India.
The company didn’t mention the phone they are going to launch. They tweeted with this hashtag “AbIndiaChaleNonStop” which means efficiency and power. This shows that the phone is going to be powerful and will probably have a big battery capacity.
While the company has not made the phone known to the public, speculations are saying that the device could be the Micromax in 2B smartphone. According to a report, Micromax will launch the Micromax in 2B this month and will launch the In 2C in August next month.
So it is safe to assume that the upcoming smartphone is the Micromax in 2B. Meanwhile, the In 2B and the In 2C had earlier appeared on Geekbench which revealed their hardware specifications. GeekBench shows that they will be powered by the Unisoc T610 chipset.
The Unisoc T610 comes with a processor that is clocked at 1.82GHz. It is a low-end chipset and it is inferior to the G80, G85, and G35 present in the In 1, In Note 1, and the In 1B smartphones respectively. GeekBench listing also shows that the upcoming In 2B and the In 2C will have a base variant with 4GB RAM.
They will run on the Android 11 operating system of course. The Micromax In 2C scored 347 in the single-core test and 1127 in the multi-core test. On the other hand, the In 2B, which is likely to unveil on the said date scored 350 in the single-core test and 1204 in the multi-core test.
Let’s be optimistic that Micromax will make the name of the phone they are going to launch on July 30 public before the launch date. By then, we will update you here on GizmoAfrica as well.
