LG has officially stopped making phones but the company is yet to quit producing accessories for smartphones. The South Korean electronics giant has unveiled a new pair of truly wireless earphones dubbed as LG Tone Free DFP8W. Let’s take a look at what they have to offer.
LG Tone Free DFP8W Specifications and Features
The newly announced LG Tone Free DFP8W feature 8mm dynamic drivers developed by Meridian Audio. The earbuds also sport three microphones. Two of them are used for calls, whereas the remaining one is utilized for ANC (Active Noise Cancellation).
The buds come with Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity. They can be paired with up to five devices. Additionally, they also support Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Windows Swift Pair.
Further, the buds support multiple codes like apt-X, AAC, and SBC. Like most earbuds, they are also IPX4-certified for splash resistance.
LG claims up to 6 hours of battery life with ANC turned on a single charge. Along with the charging case, the product is rated to offer up to a 14-hour battery with noise cancellation. With ANC disabled, the battery life increases to up to 10 hours on a full charge and up to 24 hours with the charging case.
Unlike other TWS in the market, the charging case of the LG Tone Free DFP8W comes with the company’s UV nanotech. This feature uses UV light to clean the silicone tips and speaker mesh of the earbuds.
Last but not least, this product arrives in three colours, namely Pearl White, Haze Gold, and Charcoal Black respectively.
LG Tone Free DFP8W Price and Availability
The LG Tone Free DFP8W truly wireless earphones are priced at €180. But unfortunately, LG Electronics is yet to reveal the availability of this new pair of TWS.
