Lenovo has launched the ThinkPad X1 Fold laptop in India. The company had earlier released the laptop in the US with a price tag of $2,499. Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold is a foldable laptop that can also be used as a tablet.
It has a separate Bluetooth keyboard that functions through a Bluetooth connection. The keyboard can be charged wirelessly when placed on the screen of the foldable laptop. The laptop also comes with a kickstand to hold the laptop upwards for usability.
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold Price in India and availability
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold is priced at Rs. 3,29,000 in India. But users can get it for Rs. 2,48,508 within a month through Lenovo’s website. After one month, the price will change to the original price which is Rs. 3,29,000.
Specifications and features
The ThinkPad X1 Fold comes with a 13.3-inch pOLED display with a resolution of 2,048×1,536 pixels. As you can already tell from the display type, it is made by LG. The display is foldable to enable users to use it in different case scenarios.
For example, it can be used as a tablet in landscape mode. It can also be used as a note when tilted in portrait dimension. You can take notes with it in a portrait mode and can also draw with Lenovo’s active pen. With the Bluetooth keyboard connected to the ThinkPad X1 Fold, you can use it as a laptop.
Furthermore, the ThinkPad X1 Fold runs on Windows 10 Pro which comes with Lenovo’s mode switcher app. The mode switcher app changes the orientation of the display as per the user’s activity. It also supports split-screen for multitasking.
The laptop can also display the in-screen keyword in case the Bluetooth keyboard is not available. Under the hood, ThinkPad X1 Fold is powered by the Intel core i5 processor. The processor is paired with an 11th-generation Intel UHD graphics, 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 1TB of PCIe-NVMe M.2 2242 SSD.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, and two USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports (one of which can be used as a DisplayPort). There is also optional 5G/ 4G LTE support. The battery is recharged quickly as it supports 50W fast charging. Video playback with the laptop can last for 10.4 hours.
