Infinix has posted a teaser image that may indirectly refer to the Zero X series launch timeline. They posted an image of a mosque with the caption “Something Awaits ON GROUND ZERO.” That “ZERO” may indicate the Zero X series.
The image of the mosque may refer to the next Eid festival, thus the Zero X series launch may happen next month on the 19th. While we wait for the launch, some key specs of the Zero X Neo and the Zero X Pro have appeared.
The Zero X Neo recently got certified by FCC revealing an 18W charger. The render of the Zero X appeared a few days ago. It shows that it will come with a speckled back cover and a centred punch-hole display.
It has a rectangular camera module at the rear which houses three sensors and a quad-LED flash. There is an Infinix branding below the rear. It will come with a punch-hole display with minimal bezels and chin.
The phone has volume rockers and a power button on the right side. There is no side-mounted fingerprint scanner or rear-mounted one, we speculate that it will have an under-display fingerprint scanner, thus featuring an AMOLED display.
Infinix teased a smartphone last month with a Mediatek Helio G96 chipset. Does it indicate that the Zero X will come with an Helio G96? Well, time will tell. We expect to know more regarding the Zero X series going forward.
