Huawei Nova Y60 has been unveiled in South Africa. The smartphone is currently listed on the Huawei South African website with price and full specifications. It comes with a 6.6-inch TFT LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels.
The display of the smartphone can produce up to 16.7 million colours. It comes with a ‘V’ notch cut-out overhead for the selfie camera. Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek MT6765 chipset that uses an octa-core processor with 4 x Cortex-A53 2.3 GHz + 4 x Cortex-A53 1.8 GHz. It is a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset.
It runs on the Android 10 operating system based on EMUI 11.0.1 user interface. The Nova Y60 is available in 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM and supports micro SD card expansion up to 512GB.
At the rear, it comes with a triple camera sitting in a square-shaped module. The camera includes a 13MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 5MP 120-degree ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP depth camera with f/2.4 aperture.
On the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera that has an f/2.0 aperture. What is keeping the light on is a 5000mAh battery capacity that supports 10W slow charging.
The phone has a fingerprint scanner on the side and other features include knuckle gestures, smart gallery, AppGallery, and more. Sensors include proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and gravity sensor.
Nova Y60 has a dimension of 165.26mm x 76.02mm x 9.2mm and weighs 185grams.
