It seems like the Honor 50 series smartphone unveiled in June will be getting a new colour option. The company took to Weibo to post a promotional video that hints at a new colour option for the Honor 50 series.
The promotional video and the caption suggest that the new colour scheme will reflect the artistic outline of the present colour options and will be fashion-themed. They revealed that the colour will be made official on 30th August which is on Monday next week.
To recall, the Honor 50 series were launched in four colour options which are snow crystal, summer amber, black jade green, and bright black. For those unaware, the series includes the standard Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro.
They come with a 6.57-inch OLED curved screen that supports a 120Hz screen refresh rate, and 300Hz touch sampling rate. A Snapdragon 778G processor is what’s driving the series. They are running on Android 11 with MagicUI 4.2 user interface.
At the rear, they come with a quad-camera. They are the 100-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front side, there’s a 32-megapixel selfie camera for taking selfies.
The Honor 50 series also packs a 4000mAh battery that supports a 66W fast charge while the Honor 50 Pro supports a 100W super fast charge.
