A recent report we saw via GSMArena is that Honor will be launching the Honor 50 series smartphone in May, next month. As per the report, Honor is supposed to launch the Honor 40 series smartphone but due to the reason best known to them, they skipped the 40 to 50.
The report reveals the sketched design of the smartphone. It will have a triple camera set-up at the rear. The upper lens is occupying the whole circular module while the lower circular module houses two sensors. There is also a single led flashlight in-between them to support night time shots.
Looking at the design, it reminds us of the renders of the Huawei P50 and the V40 Lite. The V40 Lite was unveiled in China on March 23 and it comes with this type of camera design, not exactly but very close. The Honor V series for China normally debut globally without the “V” prefix. We are predicting that this might be the Honor V40 Lite for the global market.
The circular rings stuff on the right in the image is strange but as per GSMArena, they predicted that it might be a snap-on filter or lens, which will presumably attach to the camera circle via magnets. None of the specifications and launch date of the supposed Honor 50 series is known for now. We will hopefully learn more about the device in the future.
