An executive of the Google’s Android has revealed that the Pixel 6 series will come with an under-display fingerprint scanner. We know that the Pixel 6 series will feature the brand’s new and proprietary Tensor processor.
Now, we have a first look at the Pixel 6 series under display fingerprint scanned that was spotted on Twitter. The screenshot of the lockscreen of the Pixel 6 was shared by Hiroshi Lockheimer, head of Google’s Android division.
In the tweet, the Android official stated that he was trying out new wallpaper combinations with Android 12’s Material You theming engine. In this screenshot, you can see that the device sports an under display fingerprint sensor icon right below the clock widget. Unfortunately, the executive deleted this tweet soon after posting it.
Furthermore, the screenshot had a resolution of 1,440 x 3,200px, however, Rahman clarified that the actual screen resolution of the Pixel 6 will be 1,140 x 3,120px. Another notable aspect noticed in the screenshot is the Verizon’s 5G network as well.
