Fitbit is apparently almost ready with its next Charge wearable. Evan Blass (@evleaks) has posted the renders of the upcoming Fitbit Charge 5.
Unfortunately, there is not additional info on hardware or features here, but we can still try to make some educated guesses and speculate a bit.
Since this is allegedly a Charge device, it is safe to assume that it will have on-board GPS, like its predecessor. Also, likely an Sp02 sensor.
Seeing how Fitbit also ported-over some features like skin temperature tracking to the Charge 4, previously only available on premium Sense devices, perhaps it is safe to assume those will be part of the Charge 5 roster, as well.
The renders seem to show a total of three color for both the Fitbit Charge 5 itself, as well as its band. The latter are definitely proprietary and not standard watch straps.
Finally, we could potentially read into the October 23 date shown on all of the renders. Perhaps that’s the planned announcement date for the device.
