Last week, DIZO announced the DIZO GoPods D TWS earbuds and DIZO Wireless neckband in India. Today, the Realme sub-brand silently announced the DIZO Star 300 and DIZO Star 500 feature phones in India. Here is all the information on the specs, features, and pricing of the Star 300 and Star 500 handsets.
DIZO Star 300 and DIZO Star 500 specifications and features
The DIZO Star 300 has a 1.77-inch display and a 2,550mAh battery, whereas the DIZO Star 500 has a 2.8-inch screen and a 1,900mAh battery. Both phones support 5W charging.
The rear side of the Star 300 has a rectangle-shaped module, while the Star 500 has a textured back with a circular camera housing. Both modules have a 0.3-megapixel camera and an LED flash. On the connectivity front, they are equipped with a dual SIM slot with 2G connectivity, an external storage slot that supports up to 64GB of microSD card, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB port.
Apart from English the Star 500 supports Indian languages such as Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telegu, and Kannada. The Star 300 supports a few more languages such as Bengali and Punjabi. The Star 500 and Star 300 other features like Bluetooth, alarm, calendar, sound recorder, files (file manager), FM radio, and music player. It is unclear whether the Star 300 supports Bluetooth connectivity. The Star 300 and 500 models offer 32MB of RAM and 32MB of storage.
DIZO Star 300 and DIZO Star 500 pricing and availability
The DIZO Star 300 is priced at Rs 1,299 (~$17) in India, and it comes in blue colour. On the other hand, the Star 500 is priced at Rs 1,799 (~$24) and it comes in green.
