The Honor 50 series has been on the rumour mill since last year. Several unconfirmed specifications of the device have hit the web. The Honor 50 series are the flagship series for Honor. As you may know, Honor is a sub-brand to Huawei and has been recently sold out due to the challenges that faced Huawei currently. It is good to know that they are not relenting in this mobile business.
We have recently seen the renders and key specs of the Honor 50 series. The render shows that the device will come with two huge circular camera modules. Now the latest report is that the smartphone has been certified by the 3C certification platform. The 3C certification didn’t reveal much about the phone but only the model number and the charging speed.
Honor 50 series 3C certification
The Honor 50 series has received Chinese 3C certification. It revealed its model number and the charging speed. The standard model has the model number NTH-AN00. It also shows that it will come with 11V, 6A charging support. This is the same charging speed we have seen on the previous V40 smartphone. In other words, it simply means that it supports 66W fast charging.
Honor 50 Pro Plus is certified with the model number RNA-AN00. The Honor 50 Pro+ version will feature Honor’s first self-developed charger with model number HN-200500C00. It is also said to support a 20V, 5A charging speed. In other words, 100W fast charging.
Expected specs
The Honor 50 series previous report revealed that they will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. The standard version is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 870. The Pro Plus version however will be fuelled by the Snapdragon 888 chipset. Snapdragon 888 chipset is among the fastest chipset currently with an Octa-core 1×2.84 GHz Kryo 680 & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 680 & 4×1.80 GHz Kryo 680 CPU.
Honor is yet to announce the launch date for the smartphone. Past reports revealed that it will be announced before the Huawei P50 series.
