Samsung joined the midrange market in 2019 with A series devices and since then, they are doing really well. In October 2020 last year, they introduced a new mid-range smartphone in the F segment as supposed to the A series they usually do. The smartphone is called the F41 and this year, they followed it up with the F62.
It seems Samsung is taking the F series seriously as a new mid-range smartphone from them has just bagged 3C certification. Speculations had it to be another F series smartphone. The device appeared on 3C certification with model number SM-E5260. This reminds us of the Galaxy F62 which debuted in India with model number SM-E625F.
Since the new certified device model number is similar to the F62 launched in India, it is safe to believe the rumors going around that this is Galaxy F52. Although it might be launched in India as F52 but will likely debut outside India with a different moniker. For instance, the F62 smartphone never existed in China as F62 but with a different moniker.
This means that on another angle, it might be called M52 in China or globally. Anyways, time will surely tell. The details it brought to 3C aren’t much. We only know that it is a 5G smartphone and comes with a bundled 25W USB Type-C charger (EP-TA800) with PPS. This is all we know so far about the alleged Galaxy F52 5G smartphone.
The smartphone will likely launch first in China as it has bagged 3C certification. But let see if it can as well get BIS certification, then we will know that it is coming to India. The F62 that was launched in India last month comes with a 6.7inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display. It also comes with an Exynos 9825 (7 nm), paired with 128GB 6GB RAM, and 128GB 8GB RAM.
The smartphone has a 64MP quad rear camera with a 7,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.
