Hisense U50 entry-level smartphone has been unveiled in Mexico. It comes with an iPhone 12 like design with that triple camera module. It is powered by a Unisoc processor. On the front, it comes with a water-drop notch with a sizeable chin and bezels.
The display measures 6.08-inch diagonally and it is an HD+ IPS LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The screen refreshes at 60Hz. The iPhone 12 like camera module at the back houses three sensors. There is an 8-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. The other sensor is unknown.
For selfies and video calls, it has a 5-megapixel unit. Under the hood, it is powered by a UNISOC SC7731E chipset that has a quad-core processor. The chipset is paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM.
There is a micro SD card slot for storage extension. It runs on the Android 11 operating system out of the box. What is keeping the light on is a 4100mAh battery that doesn’t support fast charging.
The price of the Hisense U50 is MXN 2,699 in Mexico and that roughly converts to 135 USD.
