Xiaomi launched the Redmi 10 Prime in India today alongside the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro. We have written about the Redmi 10 Prime specs and price in India, now let’s talk about the Earbuds 3 Pro.
The Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro features Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive codec and dual drivers. It is IPX4 rated which means that it can survive water splash and sweat. It comes with a quick pairing feature for MIUI phones, a minimum latency rate of 86 milliseconds, and up to 30 hours of battery life.
From the specs above, you can see that it is a rebadged Redmi AirDots 3 announced in February this year in China. So Xiaomi is basically bringing the AirDots 3 Pro to India in the Earbuds 3 Pro moniker. It competes against the Realme Buds Air 2 and OnePlus Buds Z.
Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro features
The Earbuds 3 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm QCC3040 chipset. It has dual dynamic drivers with a balanced armature. It comes with Bluetooth 5.2 version. For low latency and clear audio output, it features aptX Adaptive codec.
It comes with an IR sensor that detects when the earbuds are on your ear or out, it pauses music if you remove the earbuds and play when you wear them. It also comes with touch sensors that come in handy when you want to receive calls, increase volume, and activate voice assistant.
If the Earbuds 3 Pro is used with a Xiaomi smartphone, pairing it will be easy. You just have to open the case and the earbuds will pair automatically. It can last up to seven hours and with the case, it can last up to 30 hours.
Each earbud comes with a 43mAh lithium-ion polymer battery capacity while the charging case has 600mAh lithium-ion polymer battery. The case uses a Type-C port for charging.

Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro price in India has been set at Rs. 2,999 (MRP Rs. 5,999). The earbuds come in Blue, Pink, and White colours and will be available for purchase through Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and offline retailers starting 12pm (noon) on September 9.
