Vivo is reportedly working on its chip. The chip will be for image signal processing (ISP). Popular tipster, Digital chat station has taken to Weibo to share the first image of the chip.
In the image shared, we can see a ‘Vivo V1’ inscription which indicates that it will be called the Vivo V1 chip. Also, seeing its image may mean that its mass production has been completed and ready for use. It is codenamed ‘Yueying.’
This is a leak of course and Vivo has not made this known publicly, hence its release date is unknown. However, it is speculated that it will debut alongside the Vivo X70 series next month. Perhaps, the chip may be used in the upcoming X70 series.
This is not the first time we are hearing about Vivo producing its chip. We have heard about the ‘Vivo SoC’ and the ‘Vivo chip.’ These chips may fall under the central processing units, modems, computer chips, printed circuits, and computer storage.
