We recently shared that Realme will be the first to launch a smartphone with the new Snapdragon 810 SoC. After the launch of the Snapdragon 810 SoC, the Realme India CEO made it known that they will be the first to utilize the chipset.
Now, a new report has just dropped and it is about Oppo launching a phone with the Snapdragon 810 SoC too. Reliable tipsters, both on Twitter and Weibo have revealed that Oppo will launch a smartphone with the Snapdragon 810 SoC.
The name of the Oppo phone that will make use of the chipset is unknown for now but its specs have leaked in full.
The device will have a 6.5-inch LCD. It will also come with support for a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone will also feature a triple-camera setup on the back.
There will be a 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor. The primary camera will be accompanied by an 8MP Hynix Hi846 ultrawide camera sensor and a 2MP macro camera.
The device will pack a 5000 mAh battery. It is also said to come with support for 18W fast charging. The device will also have a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and a 3D plate back cover.
Other specifications include a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone does not support NFC, according to the tipster. It will come with P2i-grade dust and waterproof certification.
