Few months after the launch of the Black Shark 4 series gaming smartphone, the latest report shows that the company is preparing to announce its successor.
@Digital chat station, a reliable tipster on Weibo has shed light on the upcoming Xiaomi Black Shark 5 gaming smartphone. He revealed that the upcoming Black Shark handset will arrive with model number KTUS-A0 and the device got certified with the name ‘Black Shark 5’.
As per the tipster, this phone could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC. He also suggests that it may have support for 100W fast charging (probably 120W like its predecessors).
Aside from this, he didn’t reveal any other information. From what he has revealed regarding the Black Shark 5, it seems like the phone will have a minor upgrade over the Black Shark 4 series.
To recall, the Black Shark 4 series come with a 6.67-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 720Hz multi-finger touch sampling rate.
The series has an LPDDR5 RAM module, UFS 3.1 storage, Z-axis linear vibration motor, liquid cooling system, 3.5mm headphone jack, dual stereo speakers, dual USB Type-C ports, 4,500mAh battery, and JOYUI 12.5 based on Android 11.
