Yesterday, Honor held a very big event where they unveiled a lot of devices. One of the devices they unveiled is the Honor X20 5G.
Honor X20 5G is a mid-range smartphone that comes with a good looking design and specifications. It comes with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. There is also a 120Hz screen refresh rate.
Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset that supports 5G connectivity. It runs on the Android 11 operating system based on the Magic UI 4.2 user interface.
Storage options include 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM, 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM, and 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM. There is also a virtual RAM expansion, which virtually expands the RAM by 2GB using the phone’s internal storage.
At the rear, it comes with a triple camera setup. The main sensor is 64MP, then there is a 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it uses a 16MP selfie camera.
The cameras come with electronic image stabilisation to avoid shaky videos. It can also record videos with the front and rear cameras simultaneously.
What is fuelling the device is a 4300mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. The company claimed that the device can go from 0 to 50% in 15 minutes.
Other features of the phone include a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and 5G connectivity.
The 6GB/128GB variant is priced at CNY1,899 ($295), 8GB/128GB model at CNY2,199 ($340), and 8GB/256GB version at CNY2,499 ($385). The phone is already available for sale via the company’s official website in China.
