Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 has been certified by FCC which is usually the last certification before devices are made official or announced. The certification as always revealed some specs of the tablet. Recall that the last tablet that Xiaomi launched is the Mi Pad 4 in 2018.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 FCC certification
The FCC certification of the Mi Pad 5 shows that the tablet has a 21051182G model number. This is the same model number that the device appeared with on its EEC certification.
FCC shows that the tablet will come with a 22.5W fast charging support, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth support. It also shows that the device will run on the MIUI 12.5 custom skin.
A blogger on Weibo had earlier mentioned a Xiaomi tablet that shares these similar specifications. According to him, the Xiaomi tablet has a 10.95-inch display with 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also has a 12MP primary camera, 22.5W charging, and MIUI 12.5.
Other Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 leaks
The Mi Pad 5 has been surfacing on the web for some time now. So some of its specifications have been leaked so far. It will come with an OLED or IPS LCD screen. The resolution is 2560 x 1600 pixels.
The tablet features a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It will also feature 4096-level touch and In-Cell active pen technology, all to improve the viewing experience. There have been reports that it will come with a pro variant.
What will be fuelling the pro variant is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. It will also offer 5G technology for faster and smoother web surfing. The pro variant is said to come with a dual battery, each having a capacity of 4,260mAh.
In total, it will come with an 8,720mAh battery capacity. The standard Mi Pad 5 will come powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset and also offer 5G connectivity. For security purposes, they will arrive with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
