Last week, Huawei listed the Huawei Nova 8i on their website without the specs and price. But finally, they have now launched the smartphone in Malaysia. It comes with a circular camera module at the rear which holds a quad camera.
On the front, it has a pill-shaped cut-out overhead for the selfie camera. It also has a thin chin and bezels. The smartphone features a 6.67-inches IPS LCD display with 1080 x 2376 pixels. It is running on the Android 10 operating system without Google Play services.
Under the hood, it is fuelled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset, paired with an Adreno 610 chipset. It is available in two storage options but doesn’t come with a memory card slot. The storage options include 128GB + 6GB RAM and 128GB + 8GB RAM.
At the rear, the quad-camera include a 64-megapixel main shooter, 8-megapixels ultra-wide, 2-megapixels macro, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera. What is keeping the light on is a 4300mAh battery capacity that supports 66W fast charging.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm head jack, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, and USB type-c 2.0. The phone is available in Interstellar Blue, Moonlight Silver, and Starry Black colour options.
