Samsung seems to be launching a lot of phones these days. There have been rumours of an unreleased Samsung smartphone in the pipeline. Even after unveiling the Samsung Galaxy M32 and M42 5G in India, they are looking to unveil yet another M series device.
The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. It is revealed with the model number SM-M526BR. In the test carried out by Geekbench, the smartphone scored 778 in the single-core test and 2877 in the multi-core test.
It revealed that the smartphone will be powered by an Octa-core processor clocked at 1.80GHz base frequency coded “Lahaina”. The CPU is revealed to tag alongside an Adreno 642L GPU. This reminds us of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset that was launched last month.
It is currently the only chipset that makes use of the Adreno 642L GPU. Hence, the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset. The chipset is built on a 6nm process.
Further, the M52 5G will run on Android 11 based on OneUI 3.1. It will also have 6GB RAM as per GeekBench. We have learned in the past that the upcoming Galaxy M52 will be a rebadged Galaxy F52 5G recently launched in China.
However, as it stands now, it seems like Samsung has decided to upgrade the chipset of the Galaxy M52. We might expect the same display specs, camera and battery as the F52 5G. We will learn more about the device in the coming days or weeks.
